The zine was written in August 2011, when I was six years, I think, into a career that didn't feel right, but also for the first time in a relationship that felt completely right.

When you're in the middle of something hard, it can be really difficult to see anything else.

The problems feel insurmountable and incalculable, kind of like all those nightmares where I'm back in high school math and Mr. Newman tells me that there's a test and I have not studied, and even if I had studied, the numbers would still just swim on the page in front of me.
