The local business owners and the retailers got together and put in street art, put in lighting, you know, distinctive lighting in in the little strip and that became a hub uh for the locals and then the interesting thing about that is then the um the tourist bodies uh for noosa started to say well hang on a minute we could market this as the place where the locals go and that gave it a sense of identity in place as well from a tourism perspective so it is about activating spaces putting things that are going to attract.
