I'm not clever enough to play Picross, is the thing.

I've dabbled in it a little bit.

There was a Pokemon one a while back.

But you've got a game and a half to tell us about, so hit me with it.

I actually picked up Picross S6 for a little bit.

I've already completed all the main 150 puzzles.

And so I was working on the clip...

Take Picross, okay? Picross, gritty...

Gritty dungeon crawling, roguelike.

That's what Santa Cross is.

Those are like three things you never put together or you never think to put together.

But it's a gritty roguelike Picross game.

If you don't know, the audio listeners who don't know what Picross is, you've probably seen it.

It's also called Nonograms.

Um, what's crazy is the rogue-like piece is it adds modifiers.

So I'm used to playing Picross, 'cause this is what this is, is, like, basically Picross.

Mm-hmm.

Um, I'm used to playing Picross and going through and doing all the stuff, and, like, even Mario's Picross has a timer on it, uh, so you can try to beat your own times.

Not necessarily you'll lose, but you gotta beat your own.

Like, it's...

I mean, they're holding a hockey stick in the, [laughs] in the thing, and then the characters all like look crazy and shit.

There's like time-based games where you're like tapping the button to move a mine cart while the track's destroying.

Jeez.

And Jesse was also playing Super Mario Party, Kemono Friends: Picross.

So there's, of course, there's a Picross game in there.

Programming games for Intellivision.
