Nocatee

I'm going to sucker in.

And Kentucky Jeff, if you screw me on this one, I'm going to drive out the Nocatee.

And I'm going to have my guys, the push-up guys, the muscle guys, beat your A. Wow.

Yeah.

Yeah.

If I lose this one, you let Kentucky Jeff know I'm coming to Nocatee with the boys.

Yeah, Kentucky.

And we're going to embarrass him in front of his neighborhood and his family.

Then, at around 7.45 that night, Jared dropped the twins back off at their mother's house.

He buckled Bexley into her car seat, and the two of them started the drive home to Nocatee, just south of Jacksonville.

But they would never make it.

As Jared drove along a dark, winding stretch of road in Jacksonville Beach... something appeared directly in his path.

And for a while, the investigation seemed to stall.

So detectives began looking at the ambush itself.

Jared did not live in Jacksonville Beach, He lived and worked in Nocatee.

There was no reason to assume that he would be on Sanctuary Boulevard on a random Wednesday night.

His ex-wife, Ms. Gardner, lived there with her new husband, this defendant, Mario Fernandez.

Jared dropped his children off and was on his way home to Nocatee, where he lived with his new wife, Kirsten Brightigan, and their two daughters.

One of his daughters, two-year-old Bexley Brightigan, was in the car with him.

Minutes after he left Ms. Gardner's children safely at her home, he reached Sanctuary Boulevard South where a tire was laying in the road.

You probably know this.

Bob Papa, the terrific play-by-play voice of the Giants, actually lives in Nocatee.

He actually lives here in town.

We were texting back and forth Saturday about both teams, the Jags and the Giants.
