Noam Zion

So is the Messianic message of Aleinu, is it that Jews are gonna take over the world and everyone's gonna bow down to our God? Well, it depends what we mean by the Messianic vision.

Noam Zion of the Hartman Institute writes about this.

He reminds us that Maimonides fleshes out the Messianic vision of Aleinu by explaining that the Messianic goal is to elevate the true religion.

But is the true religion Judaism? He interprets Menarchial Tikkun as part of a historic divine calling to which Christianity and Islam have already contributed by spreading the knowledge of God.
