Noah Taylor

Okay, Speck, awesome stuff.

We got Noah Taylor from the Elks coming up next.

We will catch you at the rink tonight.

Sounds good, Tommy.

Thank you.

Thank you, Murray, for the update.

Coming up next, we do have Noah Taylor from the Edmonton Elks.

He's our headliner of the day.

I made the point as well.

I even went, as far as to say, I thought Noah Taylor had been a more consistent pick.

defensive lineman than Malik Carney.

Like I, I felt like throughout the season, week in week out, I felt Noah Taylor's presence more than Malik.

I mean, Malik balled out and he's a problem.

Like, don't give me a lot of this.

You had nine more tackles than Clarence Hicks.

You had more forced fumbles, uh, the past, past knockdowns.

Nick Anderson, we know what he is as a middle linebacker.

Noah Taylor, the stats speak for themselves as well.

But Malik, the stats speak for himself.

The fact is he had one more sack.

Let me just ask you one final question on this.

Like, do you guys feel Malik Carney was the best defensive player for the team this season? Like when you watched all 18 games, you were like, yup, that was the best defensive player of the season.

Cause like as good as his season was, I think, I think Noah Taylor had a more impactful defensive, more impactful season from the defensive line spot throughout the duration of the season.

And I just personally, and you know, obviously I'm on the wrong side of history here, but just personally, I felt like Tyrell Ford was the, was the best defensive player this season.

On defense...

The starters being rested, defensive end Malik Carney, as well as defensive lineman Noah Taylor, Jared Brinkman, linebacker Nick Anderson, defensive back and linebacker Joel DeBlanco, and defensive backs J.J. Ross, safety Chellen Garns, and all-star corner Terrell Ford, all not playing today for the Elks.

Way to

go, Jamie.

JJ Ross, doubtful.

Noah Taylor, doubtful.

That is a stacked lineup.

Is that it? That's everybody? That's it.

yes correct better all the time and i think that we could have a generational type kicker here like we could have a dave cutler um a sean fleming we could have a sean white even i mean sean white is borderline automatic vincent blanchard is getting into that conversation here he's already broken a cfl record

he sure has and that's why he was my player to watch at some point because hey it just he can just keep doing things he can win games so um anyways winnipeg drove into edmonton territory but there was a sack by noah taylor and a short run for them to punt.

So good for Noah Taylor.

He's been having himself a season as well.

I think a career, career year for him.

Every time.

Jared Brinkman, Malik Carney, Joel DeBlanco, Tyrell Ford, Shalene Garns.

uh, Cordell Jackson, Carter Kettle, Javon Leak, TJ Luther, Austin Mack, Brock Monginson, Jordan Murray, Carter O'Donnell, Jacob Flemington, Justin Rankin, JJ Ross, and Noah Taylor.

I gave him a little DM over the weekend.

Yeah, Noah Taylor.

He had a hell of a year and Malik-

He did, man

I think Malik took him under his wing.

It's a treat to watch those boys.

He talks about Noah Taylor quite a bit actually.

It's a treat to watch them.

This should be Noah's sack.

It's our guy, Noah Taylor.

Best defensive end in the league.

I can say that.
