He's suing Amazon claiming that they contributed to his drug problem.

Now the lawsuit says that Amazon sold whippets on their site for years and knowing that the nitrous oxide canisters weren't for culinary use.

No.

Okay.

That is true.

So the man bought them off Amazon for three years and now suffers from neurological damage, memory loss, and tremors.

Thing is, he may actually have a case, according to the article, like other people who, you know, bought the nitrous oxide.

They left reviews in the listing saying that they got a rush of dopamine, a euphoric relief from it.

I'll tell you, there's a lot of drugs on here that'll make you fucking stupid, but if you're consistently doing nitrous, you are fucking stupid.

Adam, will you tell me first of all, what prompted you to investigate the crisis that is laughing gas?

Yeah, so over the past couple of years, we have been seeing these very much in every park and roadside in Dublin, these canisters.

They started off with little silver bullet type canisters objects and people were wondering what they wore and then this became known and now they've kind of graduated to these huge canisters industrial type canisters that are kind of littering all our parks down the side the motorway which kind of is a worrying part of this because people are obviously using them while driving and then throwing them out the window so that was kind of the start of it but then we've seen in the Irish medical journal different hospitals publishing different studies over the past two or three years which are kind of waving the red flag about how dangerous this substance is when it's abused as a recreational drug and the number of patients that they're seeing coming into the hospitals, especially here in Dublin, needing treatment for this.

So we put it all together and we said, look, let's dive into this and really sink our teeth into it and have a look and see if we can kind of change something on it.

Adam, what is Laughing Gas?

So Laughing Gas has been around for centuries and it has a very legitimate business use in Say, for example, dentistry, in medicine, people in maternity hospitals might be aware of, you know, when a woman goes in and they get the gas, that would be nitrous oxide.

In the hospitality sector, it's used in restaurants and cafes for whipping cream and things like that.
