It's a mile and an eighth going around two turns at 458 Eastern for race number 10 on the card.

And this one is an interesting showdown between nitrogen and fully subscribed.

Nitrogen mark cassie at one time we were hearing maybe she goes against the boys but no he she comes in here will be the six to five favorite fully subscribed though for chad brown at eight to five and you can even then throw in splendora nine to two for bob baffert so some pretty you want to talk about spicy mark this looks like a spicy edition of the breeders cup disc staff ed why don't you start uh going through the spice rack here

yeah i mean nitrogen uh obviously the the failure mare to beat but she's going to be over bet she's an underlay here and you know we're we come to breeder's cup to gamble and i'm i'm just going to have to let her beat me at that short of a price yes her best wins this but she has regressed in her last two uh the whitney was actually a reaction to the fifths which was that big uh double digit length victory over her own sex.

Whitney was a fine race, but the Beldame was another step backward from that.

I love the higher denomination pick threes, so I'm going to shout that out.

You already know I like Knightsbridge, but I think it could be a lucrative one.

If you beat Nitrogen, and I'm against Aiden O'Brien, both of his and the turf, And you get to the Classic, you could be sitting on a decent score for a $3 pick three.

So I mentioned earlier that we're going to have a pretty hot pace in there.

If Splendora, Super Corridora, Immersive, Nitrogen, Scottish Lassie all go, it's going to be hot up front.

Now, that being said, Nitrogen scores out on top this year again.

Legitimately so, a much better horse, bigger, stronger horse this year for sure, and is knocking out some... incredible pace figure.

So while this is going to be a fast pace, this horse, she can handle it.

See how she works this weekend and then make a decision and see how the race is going to look.

I presume Nitrogen will probably go in there.

And if she does, it might be a small field.

So we won't take her cards off the table yet and fold.

I have a lot of thoughts.

Number one, you're, you're, you're not sovereignty.

I am number two, the, um, Do you know another thing that really stood out actually in that interview to me was I asked about Immersive, and he brings up Nitrogen.

If you want to know who the good horses are, when someone immediately talks about another horse, like he brought up Magnitude a couple times.

We'll start with the Distaff.

Nitrogen's gonna be a clear, uh, favorite here.

Uh, this is, f- for the purposes of what we're doing, this isn't that great of a exercise, [laughs] because it really feels like it's gonna be one of those three, Nitrogen, Fully Subscribed, Splendora.

Obviously they're all gonna be below eight to one.

But the one that I, Randy, that I'm really looking for, I think the Breeders' Cup Distaff is gonna be just fascinating.

You obviously have Nitrogen as, as the big story, and she's just had a great career.

But Fully Subscribed, even [laughs] though she got drilled by Nitrogen in the Ogden Phipps, losing by 12 3/4 length, she's been sensational since then.

Yes.

Uh, winning three in a row I know is a three-horse race in the Spinster, but she, she's not the same horse that Nitrogen just drilled back in the Ogden Phipps.

She's really good right now.

Throw in Splendora for Bob Baffert.

He's confirmed that after winning the Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Sprint, uh, last year, he's confident that she is now thriving in two-turn races.

Very cool she's coming back at five.

Your take on the race? Your take on whatever else you want to say about Nitrogen?

It's obviously fantastic news that she's coming back at age five.

As we all know, the calculus behind keeping superstar horses in training for additional years is a little different for females than it is for stallions.

And they have not officially, the last I read, John Sadler said he's still a little bit on the fence regarding the Breeders' Cup distaff.

But if she goes, she's an interesting player in there, Randy.

Would you give her any chance against the Nitrogens of the world?

That's an awfully tough spot, but you've got to give her credit for coming back off of a couple of really weak performances earlier this year.
