Nissan Patrol

They are.

So you drive a Nissan Patrol.

And what happened to you? You were picking up some food under a tree for the little bunnies that you have.

What happened?

In the last week, this is what they did.

They stole a Nissan Patrol, allegedly, and an Audi from Brighton East, and then they used it, allegedly, in a Hampton Park home invasion two hours later.

And then there was also a crime spree involving a machete.

And at the time, the mother of one of these youth offenders accused the officers of being heavy-handed.

I think a combination would be nice.

Why that

Talk about being built tough.

The chassis rails on these things are literally twice the size of a Land Cruiser or Nissan Patrol.

They are incredibly tough.

There's a few videos out there of people getting under there to do like a six wheel conversion or just looking at how to mod underneath.

[laughs] Exactly.

Um, I'll tell you a car that they would like is the Nissan Patrol.

It's just turned 75, and I've been watching all the press in Australia pouring over the latest model, which has only just gone on sale down there.

But we got it early, because we got the world's first.

Uh, v- look at this car.

This is the current Patrol that's on sale now.

But AWR Automotive, part of the Rostamani Group, have created a 75th anniversary version of that c- of the Nissan Patrol.

It's got a few little tweaks to that twin-turbo V6, uh, Platinum model with some, uh, uh, with some copper look around it, some black, um, uh, gloss black, uh, trim, uh, a- and wheels.

But yeah, I was like-

N- yeah, the Nissan Patrol.

Yeah.

[laughs] Do you, do you, I'm assuming you haven't had any time to go camping or anything like that, man?

If you don't have the budget, then there are plenty secondhand cars available.

Secondhand four-by-fours, the Nissan Patrol is a good entry point as well.

And add bigger tires to some of these cars, and all of a sudden they become quite competent.

But I think the biggest piece of advice is to become part of a club.

Oh, yeah.

The other was my Nissan Patrol with a, uh, a 4 point, a four liter engine.

And, uh, and both of them had some, some oil pressure and, and engine wear issues.

And, and the, uh, the Nissan Patrol actually burned quite a bit of oil in two of the cylinders.

And I just kept moving up the viscosity scale un- until like I got, I used a 50 weight racing oil in it.

Nice.

It thickens that oil up.

It's, it's effectively like instead of putting 1030 in, you're putting in, like, a blended 50 weight racing oil.
