I have a, a DSI LL, which is the Japanese version of the XL because I think it would've been XUL if they'd...
Chris PersonGUEST
Whatever.
Chris PersonGUEST
Um, that I'm currently have...
AdrianGUEST
I'm not exactly entirely sure, but...
Brian RubinHOST
It's also interesting because I have a DSi XL and every one of those has two IPS screens.
Brian RubinHOST
Every one of
AdrianGUEST
them.
AdrianGUEST
I want one so bad.
AdrianGUEST
This is like a huge tangent, but I really want to get a DSi XL.
Brian RubinHOST
Oh, dude, it's, it's, I almost put a skin on that.
Brian RubinHOST
Let's kind of get like a textured back to it.
Audi SorlieHOST
It is Mark Duddleson, Triforce.
Marc DuddlesonPANELIST
You know, Adi, would you believe that I discovered just this past Sunday that I bought my DSi XL on the day that Randy Savage died?
Audi SorlieHOST
No, that is completely out of left field, and I'm quite put off.
Audi SorlieHOST
But, I mean, rest in peace, Macho Man.
Audi SorlieHOST
That was a hard day for us all.
Audi SorlieHOST
May he eat the Slim Jims in heaven.
Marc DuddlesonPANELIST
I was just out there buying a DSi XL.
Audi SorlieHOST
So what do you remember more of that? Do you remember his death or the XL?
WillieHOST
This dual screen, however, it's kind of nice.
WillieHOST
It's a clone of the DSi XL.
WillieHOST
It's got newer screens.
WillieHOST
It's a really nice DS clone.
Brian RubinHOST
I am new to the DS thing.
Brian RubinHOST
I just got a DSi XL and a DS Lite.
Brian RubinHOST
And I'm loving them, but I'm new to them.
Brian RubinHOST
So I don't know as much about those as I do about the 3DS and 2DS line.
FloppyHOST
My first DS was a DSi.
FloppyHOST
A DSi XL and it was like that coppery poo brown color.
FloppyHOST
Yep.
FloppyHOST
I picked
DannyHOST
So I can't really talk.
DannyHOST
And that's my preferred way of playing, actually, is on a big DSi XL.
DannyHOST
The DSi
JakeGUEST
XL is great, isn't it? Nice big screen and chunky looking.
JakeGUEST
And it's so comfortable to hold compared to the original.
JakeGUEST
Yeah, that's long-time gaming.
JakeGUEST
So there's a Phantasy Star Zero I will play out for hours on the DSi XL.
JakeGUEST
Nothing else.
Billy HooshHOST
Um, Now the final little rabbit hole that I fell into, which I wish I fell into earlier this summer, I wish I didn't wait until the fall, but it was after playing Final Fantasy Resonance, the demo on my Switch 2 in handheld mode, it made me like fall back in love with like Nintendo handhelds.
Billy HooshHOST
And I went and I dug up my 3DS, And I found a DSI XL that we had as well.
Billy HooshHOST
And boy, oh boy, those systems are still great.
Billy HooshHOST
I haven't touched my like 3DS in 11 years.
Matt DuarioHOST
So
Gerard BarreraHOST
did that start on the DS, DS XL? No, it started out on
Matt DuarioHOST
the GameCube.
Matt DuarioHOST
The original GameCube.
