The synopsis is two policewomen are assigned to protect a gangster's mistress turned informant.

It's directed by Godfrey Ho, who we of course know did Ninja Terminator, Robo Vampire, Crocodile Fury, Undefeatable, Ninja II: The Protector, Ninja in a Killing Field, uh, [laughs] Thunderer the Gigantic Serpent.

I mean, there's so many.

He's actually one I need to catch on more because at least via my Letterboxd, I've only seen a handful of his films.

Uh, but anyway, Philip Ko, his other acting credits include '84's The Eight Diagram Pole Fighter, '87's Eastern Condors, and '88's Dragons Forever.

He was also in '83's Seeding of a Ghost, '86's Magic Crystal, and '85's Ninja Terminator, starring Richard Harrison-

... [chuckles] who we just talked about, played the lead cultist in, uh, Empire of the Dark.

Their write-up on this says, Diamond Ninja Force is maybe the wildest of all the films directed by Godfrey Ho for IFD, taking footage from three different shoots with Richard Harrison and combining it with a sleazy Taiwanese horror film called Demon's Apartment, also included in this release.

the boom itself turned into films eventually, obviously thanks to Shogun and many other great, you know, films and so obviously the Japanese film industry itself pumped out heaps of those as well so you had this start in particularly in um the american film industry with enter the ninja in 81 with franco nero who's an italian playing a ninja big cinema shokasugi obviously had his start in that one in the villainous role in that one as asagawa and then kasugi just basically becomes ninja jesus pretty much like he's in every everyone revenge of the ninja ninja three the domination probably one of the better ones and canon films pumps out like 12 ninja movies a year of different types And then there's a heap of ones from Taiwan as well, which we've covered here before too, Ninja Terminator and more.

From there, you had also Lee Van Cleef became known for being a ninja in the 1984 show The Master.

And that's probably one of the better ones too.

I was like, oh, you have smart kids.

I was half expecting it to be that robot toy from Ninja Terminator.

But no, that's an 80s toy.

That turned into Omega Supreme.
