Ninilchik

I've been here a long time myself.

Our family moved into Ninilchik in 1981.

I attended Ninilchik High School and eventually moved to Sildotna High where I graduated from Sildotna High.

Real active in sports then, real active with our sports teams now with our kids.

I believe I'm your candidate that is your community partner.

At the time, though, I was too consumed by my personal problems to notice the message the wilderness was sending me.

Around four hours into the trip, somewhere between Cooper Landing and Ninilchik, My lower back began to ache from remaining in one position for so long.

The sky had become that peculiar shade of winter grey that makes three o'clock in the afternoon resemble twilight.
