Niko Mikkola

Volmani showed promise, but the depth chart is set.

Yuvis Balinskis and Niko Mikola are competing for the sixth defenseman spot, but Gutas and Kulikov seem locked in.

So, no surprises in the lineup tonight.

Just execution.

...Barkov, Bennett, Lundell.

À la ligne bleue, Gustav Forsling, Mikkola, Ekblad, Seth Jones.

Radko Gudas, Kulikov.

C'est incroyable.

I'm so obsessed with this group.

And their D, dude, is just like, Seth Jones, Aaron Ekblad, Gustav Forsling, Niko Mikkola, Radko Gudas is back, Kulakov on the t- ...

Like, I, I-

What are we talking about?

Uh, it, it made no sense for them to get Markstrom.

And, uh, you gotta have a lot of respect for Seth Jones, Juska Forsling, Aaron Ekblad, Niko Mikkola.

Th- they're, they're good players.

Um, they're all over 30.

It opens up lanes for the wingers.

And defensively, we've got Ekblad, Forsling, Gudas, Jones, Kulakov, Mikkola, Petrovic, Sobrangho.

That's a strong blue line.

Seth Jones is a franchise defenseman.

Seth Jones is gonna be healthy again.

The Condor, Niko Mikkola, those are elite defense.

So the key to it is gonna be that front nine, that top nine in the defense that is gonna be in front of Jacob Markstrom is gonna be playing very well.

And I'm not asking Jacob Markstrom to go out there and make all the crazy saves.

Wait, no, Seth Jones isn't on the list.

We have Radko Gudas, Dmitry Kulikov, Niko Mikkola, Javis Balinskis, Tobias Bjørnfors.

Who makes the cut?

[static] Right.

Like-

But then they decide to spin it into, oh, maybe he's Niko Mikkola.

Maybe.

Maybe.
