Hey, I mean, for, for the Nightscout Foundation's sake, I kind of hope it's your 401[k].

I seriously-

And, and then again, um, to, you know, kind of, um, reiterate on the whole concept of we are pushing the envelope here, we will be, we will be at the forefront of that, and we will be pushing that, that, that envelope, um, because we can do it much quicker and, you know, from, from like a patient leading perspective and approach versus what all the commercial companies and the commercial entities are doing.

Yeah.

Um, and the great thing is that we've, we, we're now working, like, more and more with researchers and being kind of seen as, as a serious, you know, entity to be, like, sorry, as an entity to be taken seriously and to, like, work with, versus, you know, um, I think it must have been actually a former CEO of Dexcom who called the, the people that created Nightscout the rogue cowboys, right? We're not rogue cowboys.

We're actually, like, pretty, pretty serious people, and we're pretty serious about the things that we do here, and we, we, we wanna innovate, and we wanna push the, push stuff.

So during these 12 months, we could relate to an observation I've heard that managing type one diabetes is as easy as riding a bike, except the bike is on fire and you're on fire and everything is on fire and you're in hell.

So after 12 months of this hell, in an effort to douse some of the flames, we started monitoring Patrick's blood glucose levels with a Dixcom continuous glucose monitoring system, which you can see here on the back of his arm, or it can be worn on the belly or other places, and a remote monitoring system called Night Scout, which I've showed you here.

Now the CGM technology costs us thousands of dollars every year because it's not subsidised in Australia at the moment.

But for us it's worth every cent and the results have been amazing.

Uh, no, I found that myself.

Um, my doctor is quite open to it, uh, so when I started looping, um, I set everything up, um, including Nightscout, and I, I shared, uh, my access details with my doctor, um, so she can see what I'm doing there.

Um, she's not super involved on that side.
