Night Tracks

far you may be thinking okay great i got it van halen 1984 but oh we're just getting started we are what else was happening in the music i mean

you know i i just remember one story because i didn't have mtv back then uh but we had night tracks

Pre-MTV.

Pre-MTV.

they had some cable, but we weren't paying for it.

So somehow, someway, though, we were paying for enough to get TNT or something like that.

And so Night Tracks was on Friday night, like from 10 o'clock in the morning, 10 o'clock at night until, I don't know, 5 o'clock in the morning or something like that.

And so it played music videos, and I just remember recording it on my VHS.
