Night feed

Like, it's an amazing thing.

But one thing I read was, and I write about this in the memoir, was Eavan Boland's, um, poem, Night Feeding.

And I, it was about bottle feeding.

And so my daughter's birth injury meant she couldn't breastfeed, and I was bottle feeding her.

And every poem or book I read was this beautiful mother-child relationship about breastfeeding, and I felt so cut off from it.

So when I read Night Feed...

Is it Night Feed or Night Feeding? Night Feed, I think.

I emailed Eavan, and she was teaching in Stanford University at the time.
