Is that going to alter now how teams like you and other management teams are preparing for next year in terms of a style of play?

I think it already has, but I think it comes with a caveat.

Mayo are full of speedsters, so genetics plays a bit of a part in this, and they were able to come man-on-man in Croke Park because they were trusting their athleticism.

I've seen loads of club teams trying to do it, and you'll see loads of county teams, but unless you have the athletic... personnel to do it you're going to come on stuck you have to be able to cover ground quickly Mayo have the perfect player profile to execute it's the style of football everyone wants to play but not everyone can play it it's like everyone wants to play Kerry's beautiful kicking game but not everyone can do it you have to cut your cloth to suit what suits your players and what suits your county Mayo have always been emotional footballers high energy everything about them smacks of enthusiasm and they want a game of ping pong I've referenced this a lot so it suits Ryan O'Donoghue to hunt everything in Croke Park because that gives everyone a lift it will influence people it was like when Jim McGuinness brought in the defensive football everyone tried to bring that in but I'd err on the side of caution what suits your county what suits the DNA but most importantly what suits the players at your disposal

Like, when you're Dublin, like you're, you're one of the great, like you're one of the great dynasties.

Kerry and Dublin are, that, that is, that is Gaelic football and has been for 50, 60 years.

If you were losing to the likes of Louth and Westmeath, if, it would rattle other big counties, but they have such self-belief, and the five or six guys that have so many All-Irelands, they've a lot to rely back on.

How big an impact has that had, do you think, on the Dublin performances that we've seen on the field?

I think it has had an, an effect.

It's, it's the narrative around it.

It's constantly been spoke about in every interview, in every podcast.

In every conversation piece, it's been mentioned about Ger Brennan, so it has to seep into the dressing room in, in some way, shape, or form.

I, I think with Dublin, I actually think they played well at the weekend.
