Niele Ivey

So thrilled that she stayed.

Those kids have so many opportunities now to just go from place to place, and it's nice to see somebody that has that loyalty to, to Niele Ivey, and they have a great relationship.

But she's a terrific player.

To lead the nation in steals, um, to be able to do that at both ends of the floor, she seems like somebody that never gets tired.

OkayDeja at one point was on the Las Vegas Aces, and then she got cut, so I'm assuming it's around that time.

And then Niele Ivey and Napheesa spent a season together.

Okay.

So yeah, they were teammates.

We can go as far as we want to.

And again, like I said, nobody believed in us, and we believed in each other, and it was able to take us all the way to our first Elite Eight with, under Coach Ivey as the head coach, and that's something that is extremely exciting.

So i- in this era of, of college sports, we know that the portal plays a part every year, so you have transfers coming in this year and obviously freshmen.

But with transfers coming in, how difficult or, or I guess i- if it's easy, or how long does it take to build chemistry each and every year with new players?

But, you know, we've been blessed to have a group of girls that just wanna work, um, that are willing to just go through the fire, that are willing to kind of forget everything that they learned from their other schools and embrace this new culture, um, and figure everything out, and they've done a great job of doing that.

So it's been easy to build the culture off the court and on the court, and we're still figuring everything out, but they've been great at doing it.

I know part of that, yeah, you've credited, too, and talked about your relationship with is Coach Ivey, who, who helps make all of this possible.
