Conrad ThompsonHOST
We know how that's gonna wind up.
Conrad ThompsonHOST
Tough Enough had just finished up, and the winners were Maven and Nidia.
Conrad ThompsonHOST
Uh, Jim, what'd you think of that concept, Tough Enough?
Jim RossGUEST
I didn't, I didn't, uh, mind it.
Conrad ThompsonHOST
And we see her in a neck brace.
Conrad ThompsonHOST
Tajiri checking on her.
Conrad ThompsonHOST
Jim, we, we mentioned a minute ago that, uh, we now have Tough Enough winners, Maven and Nidia.
Conrad ThompsonHOST
What did you think of the Tough Enough concept, and what did you think of Maven and Nidia?
Matt MarburyHOST
Match number two is Jamie Nov- [laughs] This is weird.
Matt MarburyHOST
Jamie Noble versus Nidia.
Adam TollefsonHOST
First time ever.
Matt MarburyHOST
With Tajiri as the special guest referee.
Matt MarburyHOST
Um, he gets the win with, like, a kind of a little unique roll-up thing.
Matt MarburyHOST
I don't know.
Matt MarburyHOST
In the end, Jamie and Nidia, they bond over beating the hell out of Tajiri.
Matt MarburyHOST
[laughs]
Matt ElfringHOST
Like, I, it's, it's such a good character.
Chris HaynerHOST
Um, my favorite costume of the night, Nidia and Jamie Noble dressed as each other and super horny for each other.
Matt ElfringHOST
Oh, yeah.
Chris HaynerHOST
I thought that was, uh, that was absolutely delightful.
16 MINS LATER
Chris HaynerHOST
I thought, I thought a lot of the party stuff was really great.
Chris HaynerHOST
Um, I loved the way a lot of the wrestlers got to play around with their characters.
Chris HaynerHOST
The Nidia, Nidia Jamie Noble thing cracked me up so hard.
Chris HaynerHOST
Um, yeah.
Kris PavoneGUEST
I remember them asking me a bunch of questions, and I did more like interviews.
Kris PavoneGUEST
[laughs] Um, now a funny thing, I remember being there in the back with everybody, and I remember seeing Nidia, um, who would end up going on to win it, and who I actually became really close with, 'cause I, I dated her sister for a, a number of years actually, you know, once I got into wrestling.
Kris PavoneGUEST
So I got to know her and her family really well.
Kris PavoneGUEST
And, uh, but it was funny, I, I remember seeing her there like before, 'cause she was attractive, so I noticed her.
Ben VealHOST
[laughs]
Kris PavoneGUEST
But a little side note.
Ben VealHOST
Did you, did you meet Maven that day? Obviously Nidia and Maven would go on to win.
Kris PavoneGUEST
Y- y- yeah, I don't remember Maven being there.
Matt FerrellHOST
Uh, we head to the ring now as Rey Mysterio is gonna defend the Cruiserweight title in a Royal Rumble rematch with Jamie Noble, who of course, as always, and as Cole puts it, with his blind girlfriend.
Matt FerrellHOST
Always just says his blind girlfriend, Nidia.
Matt FerrellHOST
I don't know why Noble is getting a rematch, but he is.
Matt FerrellHOST
Uh, Noble, um, keeps Rey Mysterio down with some amateur wrestling moves and, uh, several cover attempts.
Matt FerrellHOST
Rey slides out into an arm drag and kicks Noble into the middle rope.
Matt FerrellHOST
Noble cuts off the 619 with a back elbow.
Matt FerrellHOST
Nidia accidentally grabs Noble again, as she had done at the Rumble.
Matt FerrellHOST
R- Mysterio hurricanrana, but this time Noble quickly recovers, gets a backbreaker, follows that up with an abdominal stretch.
JackHOST
This is called an indecent proposal match.
JackHOST
Essentially, Jamie Noble and his partner and valet, Nidia, are the sort of trailer trash couple on SmackDown.
JackHOST
We've covered, I think, this, this before, but, um-
SamHOST
We have
JackHOST
Billy Gunn meets him and jumps him on the ramp.
JackHOST
Noble hits a dropkick on Gunn's leg against the steel steps on the outside and keeps working that leg.
JackHOST
Nidia shows up now.
JackHOST
Okay.
Matt MarburyHOST
Oh, man.
Matt MarburyHOST
Then we see Nidia get super heated during a chat with Rey Mysterio.
Matt MarburyHOST
How's your, did your Duolingo help you out with this at all? There was a l- a lot of Spanish being thrown around.
Matt MarburyHOST
He basically- Kurt Translate ...
