And then they need to vote for every single person that's got an R behind their name at this point, because unfortunately the Democrats.
Melissa ClementGUEST
11:34
I've sold our, our sold women out and sold young girls out by by supporting question six and anyone who goes out publicly like, um, Aaron Ford, Sandra, how to gee, and Nicole Cannizzaro pushing question six that eliminates them from, in my opinion, they should never hold office because they do not care about women or young girls.
Melissa ClementGUEST

So you've got to vote for Lombardo.
Melissa ClementGUEST
12:06
You got to vote for Stavros Anthony.
Sean RankinGUEST
13:11
We can actually show the sort of difference between, and distinguish between what Joe Lombardo, the governor, is doing, what Aaron Ford is saying in his campaign.
Sean RankinGUEST
13:20
How does that affect the AG race with Nicole Cannizzaro? So we actually feel confident.
Sean RankinGUEST
13:25
Nevada is more of a dog fight.
Sean RankinGUEST
13:27
It always is.
Megan BarthGUEST
14:47
And the second part of that is we can't remember, because so many people are moving here, as I'm told, a lot of the people are moving from California to escape Democrats.
Megan BarthGUEST
14:58
So the Californians that are escaping Democrat policies don't want to repeat the policies in Nevada that Nicole Cannizzaro or Aaron Ford or any Democrat in Nevada Nevada wants to implement, because every time you look at a piece of legislation out of our Democratic majority state legislature, it's like they took they cut and pasted a piece of Democrat legislation from California and they put it into Nevada and want to get it passed.
Megan BarthGUEST
15:27
And that's why Joe Lombardo has a record number of vetoes, because he is the only speed bump.
Megan BarthGUEST
15:33
He is the only stopgap measure from our state becoming California.
Megan BarthGUEST
13:14
So the Californians that are escaping Democrat policies don't want to repeat the policies in Nevada anymore.
Megan BarthGUEST
13:22
that Nicole Cannizzaro or Aaron Ford or any Democrat in Nevada wants to implement.
Megan BarthGUEST
13:29
Because every time you look at a piece of legislation out of our Democratic majority state legislature, it's like they cut and pasted a piece of Democrat legislation from California and they put it into Nevada and want to get it passed.
Megan BarthGUEST

And that's why Joe Lombardo has a record number of vetoes, because he is the only speed bump.
Sam SchaafHOST
22:29
But do you want to respond to the basic safety issue?
Becky HarrisGUEST
22:32
Well, what I'd like to say is when I was in the legislature in 2017, it was Nicole Cannizzaro's bill, but we as a legislature agreed to put a lot of resources into mental health.
Becky HarrisGUEST
22:42
so that we could separate out first responder mental health issues so that we weren't having a police presence when it was a health crisis that was happening so that people could get the services that they need.
Becky HarrisGUEST
22:53
But I agree, as I'm out across the district, Public safety is a big issue for a lot of residents, whether they're in Sandy Valley, Summerlin, Henderson, Section 10, or Chinatown.
Sam ShadHOST
22:30
... to, to the basic safety issue?
Becky HarrisGUEST
22:32
Well, what I'd like to say is when I was in the legislature in 2017, uh, it was Nicole Cannizzaro's bill, but we as a legislature agreed to put a lot of resources into mental health so that we could separate out first responder mental health issues so that we weren't having, um, a police presence when it was a health crisis that was happening, so that, that people could, um, get the services that they need.
Becky HarrisGUEST
22:53
But, uh, I agree.
Becky HarrisGUEST
22:55
Um, as I'm out across the district, uh, public safety is a big issue for a lot of residents, whether they're in Sandy Valley, Summerlin, Henderson, c- uh, Section 10, or, or y- or Chinatown.
John BurkeGUEST
15:30
And, uh, we also have a lot of other statewide races, uh, especially our attorney general race.
John BurkeGUEST
15:35
Adriana Guzman-Fralick is the Republican nominee running against Nicole Cannizzaro.
John BurkeGUEST
15:42
And, uh, making sure she wins gives us a huge chance to reverse all the terrible policies we've seen from Aaron Ford for the last eight years, and we can get a good law and order attorney general in there who's going to protect our communities.
John BurkeGUEST
15:55
So those are just a few of the races that, uh, we are really working hard to make sure we see, uh, good results in November.
Jesse MerrickHOST
12:23
So, uh, for you, Jacob and April, what are some of the other races on the state side that have caught your eye, if we hit like a CliffsNotes version on each of those?
April Corbin GirnusGUEST
12:31
Yeah, I think the, one of the most exciting ones is the attorney general race between Nicole Cannizzaro and, uh, the Republican is, uh, Adriana Guzman-Frelix, who used to be on the Cannabis Compliance Board, um, and has kind of a long history of working at various boards and commissions in the state.
April Corbin GirnusGUEST
12:46
Obviously, that's one with big implications because there are, you know, dozens right now, outstanding lawsuits, uh, against the Trump administration and federal things.
April Corbin GirnusGUEST
12:54
Uh, so the outcome of that I think is probably really, uh, consequential, and also because the AG position in the state has been a springboard for higher office.
