Now, I've got to say, While the movie is engaging to a point, I was not fully sold.

The cast is rounded out with a stable of Black actors, including Nicole Beharie, Lisa Gay Hamilton, LaChance, and Giancarlo Esposito.

Clocking in at one hour and 47 minutes by any means is rated R and is currently playing in theaters nationwide.

Here he plays a composite young FBI agent known unsubtly as Strider, who has just returned home from Chicago to his native Mississippi, determined to find justice, as he tells us too many times here.

He gives this all his best, as does the always great Nicole Beharie, given little to do as Agent Strider's wife.

The case that brings Scarpa and Strider together is indeed a compelling one from the real history of the Civil Rights Movement.

All right, By Any Means is directed by Elegance Bratton, who has made various different films, such as Peer Kids and The Inspection, as well as directed a lot of different episodes for a couple of FX series that come out on TV.

Now, in By Any Means, I mentioned that we have two big names, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Mark Wahlberg, but we also have Nicole Beharie and Giancarlo Esposito.

Now, what the heck goes on in By Any Means? Well, I would be gladly able to tell you in this little non-spoiler summary.

In By Any Means, we are introduced to Wayne Strider, who is played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.

Again, I've been saying nothing but positive things about Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Mark Wahlberg, but...

Wayne Strider was a really strong character, but he was only strong because he had a strong woman on his side.

So I got to give a shout out to Nicole Beharie.

She played the wife of Yahya Abdul-Mateen, and she was always going to side with Wayne, no matter what was going down.

the internal conflicts, I think they do a, a really accurate job of that.

Like Nicole Beharie, her character, I was like, "Girl, I'd have been there." So.
