But as the summer window goes, I think if you'd have told us at the start of the window that we'd only lose one of our main men and we'd keep Gibbs White and we'd keep Murillo and we'd keep Nico Williams, I think add that to the fact that we've put in our team two bona fide starters Jarvis Schlager's up for debate currently with Sangare if Sangare comes back into fitness but you've you've improved the 11 and you've kept the core of your team Anderson was a sale that was always going to happen so I think for me I'm giving it 8.5 to a 9 out of 10 okay I agree with Dave as well a midfielder would have been nice and I think a goalkeeper would have been the absolute cherry on top But I think you kind of have to understand that the market's difficult.

I don't buy into this narrative either on X that Forrest didn't try.

So I'm really, really pleased, not only with the starting 11 players, also with the players on the bench.

Is there any word on Nico Dominguez? Is he someone you wanna keep at the club?

Yeah, I, I'm not, uh, a coach who take part of these rumors, uh, you making from the media.

Uh, Nico's a part of the squad, and we have a strong squad, um, definitely, but you also know that we wanna be still active in the transfer market, but we have still a couple of days left.

But everyone, every Forest fan's got the same concerns, I think, about McAtee, that will he adapt and, and will he be strong enough to play in that two with Sangare? And I think a lot of people think, uh, that the jury's out on that, and maybe he will naturally eventually go into that second 10 role alongside Morgan.

Um, so yeah, I, I'm a big fan of Dominguez.

I, I thought Schlager was potentially a good, you know, bench signing as well, but neither of them looked very, very sharp on Tuesday.

Uh, so I think if the club have, have got the ability to bring somebody in who is better than them, who can then start alongside Sangare in midfield, um, and then we play McAtee further up the pitch, then that, that could be, uh, the best for all concerned.

Uh, so I don't know.

There's some talk we're gonna buy a midfielder, uh, called Andre, who plays for Corinthians, uh, and perhaps loan him out to them straight away.

I also wonder if we sign a midfielder and someone like Nico Dominguez goes there.

Um, I did...

And he's shown real confidence.

quality, as Richard touched on earlier, in the pre-season, linking up with Dominguez last Sunday against Brest.

Callum Mendo, yeah, I think he's sticking around.

It's been said by Glasney he's sticking around.

You've got Gibbs, White, Callum and Wood like I have.

But your midfield two is different.

You've got Schlager coming in with Nico Dominguez.

Yeah, I probably dipped too much into the pool of minutes management in this scenario.

So I think to me, that's our strongest side at the moment.

Uh, for me it was a toss-up for Schlager or Dominguez, because I really rate Dominguez.

Uh, I think he's the sort of player that will run all day for you, and we might need that in midfield, um, as, as the season goes on.

So I wouldn't be surprised to see Dominguez come on at some point to allow for fresh legs after 60 minutes.

Um, but yeah, I think that's our team until we sign a striker, um, in, in, in my view.

M- McAtee's worth a mention because he's so fascinating.

But y- you just need that, that strength against these lot.

And as much as I think McAtee really, really will have a breakout season for us and be a star, I don't think he'll start at, at this game.

I think, like we said before, there's just not many people you would get that sort of moment for.

And you asked Nico Dominguez about it after the game, obviously.

And you can't, you just can't help but smile thinking about Taiwo and the moments he's given us and what a stand-up bloke he's been throughout.

And obviously, what he's been through as well.

So yeah, very thankful to have experienced some of Taiwo's best moments and really, really pleased that they managed to get him out and give him that send-off 'cause he deserves it.
