We all know! In 2010, Lady Gaga arrived at the MTV Music Video Awards wearing a dress made from raw beef designed by Argentine broad designer Frank Fernandez and styled by Nicola Formichetti.

The dress was made from several pieces of meat and was completed with matching meat shoes, a meat purse and a headpiece.

it really exposed me to, like, Gareth Pugh and Nicola Formichetti and Anna Treveylyan and all these people who I'm so inspired by still to this day.

It's so clear, and it's interesting, too, that the part about fashion that really resonated with you is, like, this artistic, sculptural-

I had to have a job.

And I interned for a stylist, Nicola Formichetti, who's quite famous now.

He's the creative director of MAC Cosmetics.

And also Kim Jones, who was a fashion designer, you know, who's at Dior, at Fendi.

Totally, but I never even strategically thought about it like that.

It just sort of happened.

It just sort of happened because I was earning an incredibly good living as a creative director and stylist.

I was making a lot of money doing not that much hard work.
