Nicola Coughlan

Her parents separated when she was 14 years old.

By the age of 23, she was an aspiring actress, having attended the same Galway drama school as Nicola Coughlan.

As she was backpacking through South America, she got a call that changed her life.

Her mother had died suddenly.

You're gonna be rewarded by getting to see James Austin Johnson on the show." Uh, I should mention, obviously, you know, Tina Fey hosted the first episode of Series 1.

Jimmy Fallon did cameo in the Nicola Coughlan episode.

So we have seen SNL US alumni come on the show, but it's a whole different thing when you get a current cast member making their way over and playing their most popular role on SNL UK.

The premise is wild.

Yeah.

We talked about Nicola Coughlan last- last season blending with the cast.

Yeah.

And I think Amelia did exactly the same.

Um-

Nicola Coughlan is the actress.

Yes.

Wow.

Yes.

Um, you w- you would have like two out of three Irish actors, 'cause Nicola Coughlan is Irish too.

[laughs]
