I'm just going to be playing lots of his stuff today.

it's all very different from each other kind of there's disco there's folk there's ambient stuff so yeah there will be lots of different genres play well maybe not lots of different genres but lots of different sounds He produced this song with Nicky Siano.

So really cool.

Arthur Russell kind of hung out with the avant-garde music scene in New York.

this guy, Joey Bonfiglio, who hired me, was pretty much a DJ's DJ.

He taught me during that time at New York, New York, so much about David Rodriguez, Nicky Siano.

Bobby DJ Gutadaro, all the really, really significant DJs.

He taught me all the good records that I should have, like, you know, Life and Death in GNA by Abaco Dream, and I could, like, read you a list of, like, a hundred of those little seven-inch, you know.

That guy, I have so much respect for Tom.

He's created his own lane with... his own thing that no one else does what he's done right and it's just incredible and you know Daniel was like you should do something you know because I just started doing the orchestra show with Ministry of Sound and he's like can you do that and I'm like well I already do the orchestra show um so I was having a think and I saw there was a Nicky Siano's uh Studio 54 like sort of um Hallelujah Disco thing and um I looked at it online I was like going this kind of sound system-y And I'm like, what if you just had like a real choir, you know, like a proper gospel choir, you know, doing this thing.

And, you know, having Adelaide as a launchpad, it seemed like a really obvious thing for me to sort of, you talked about House Five and, you know, it seemed like a really obvious thing to go, well, why don't I just do like a gospel house version of this mix? And, you know, we'll just send it.

And luckily there's a couple of choirs in Adelaide and Charmaine Jones, who has Gospel Collective down there, like I reached out to her and she had no idea about me and my history or anything.
