All right, so what is this Coastal Corridor? What does this mean to the average person?

So you guys have probably seen all the excitement about Florida's Wildlife Corridor and how that really developed and came to be and got everybody really enthusiastic.

It, it, it, it generated a lot of support, funding across the board, and attention.

We're, we're sitting here thinking our, our...

Florida's, in my opinion, uh, in my experience, uh, which has been a, been many years, uh, Florida's coastal resources are the highest and greatest economic engine benefit to Florida.

From our estuaries, our beaches, our s- our, our, our fish and wild- our fish and wildlife resources, our marine resources, the things that people like to catch and eat, uh, and enjoy, from, from residents to tourists.

I mean, there's no stronger economic value and engine in the state of Florida, in my opinion.

And listen, I've been in Florida for almost 40 years working in the conservation world and We all love the state and the Florida Wildlife Corridor model has just taken off, as you noted, and it just has inspired so many people.

Grateful for all the work on the land.

But as you well know, you just laid it out.

One of the things that makes Florida so special is you can take your boat out into one of those precious places like Mosquito Lagoon and you can go out and cast a line and you can catch amazing, amazing fish near shore, offshore.

Florida is the fishing capital of the world, but we don't take that for granted.
