Nick Teale

thank y'all.

Nick Teale, you're like the songwriting silly putty, man.

We never know what we're going to get when you show up, and I love that about you.

You always keep us on our toes.

Well, I'm going to give you a silver patch.

Once again, great stuff.

Give it up to Nick Teale.

All right.

Sir.

All right, my name's Nick Teale.

Just moved here from Louisville, Kentucky about three weeks ago.

I have been playing around at some of the open mics, and I've had some folks tell me I should definitely do this one at the Hooks, so I'm gonna go with that.

It felt like, but, you know, it's also like that's a folk song and that's kind of what they do in that tradition is kind of over enunciating.

You know, so I was feeling like you were picking up on that vibe.

But, you know, I feel like, Nick, you're such a great singer and we've seen so many different textures to you and your voice here that you can, you know, sing it like Nick Teale would sing it.

I feel like I totally felt the vibes that you were trying to evoke and the nostalgia with that.
