If you don't know Sylvanesso, Amelia Meath and Nick Sanborn are the two musicians behind the project.

They're also a couple.

And both of them say that this was a really frustrating set of decisions, that at every turn, it felt like they had to choose between independence and sustainability.

In addition to all of the myriad benefits of having more people in my life, I think resisting the slide into isolation, I'm most focused on that, I think, right now.

And I think that is, I'm so grateful that that has stretched both into, like, the work we do, but also just to, like, the city we live in, and, like, the team that we have, both in, you know, business and in life and in family.

Uh, Sylvan Esso, uh, again, to just talk about people that I know here, not trying to name-drop, but Nick Sanborn, old school Milwaukee guy.

I knew him back in the day when I lived in Milwaukee.

He used to bartend at the Cactus Club back in the day.

So I was recording my solo record as Mountain Man was recording Magic Ship.

And you made the record with Nick Sanborn, who is the other half of Sylvan Esso.
