Nick Maxwell

Yeah, and you're so dehydrated, grand final day, and you've got to wait.

I think, it wasn't me, I think Nick Maxwell was one of them.

Yeah.

A couple of hours, like, yeah.

Jack Delosa was the founder of The Entourage.

Nick Maxwell was a premiership captain of the Collingwood Football Club.

And by the end of my first season, I had this body of work to be able to go and get my next 10 guests.

In the next 10 guests was Dr John Demartini, who probably the biggest thought leader in the world.

Well, I guess one thing too is just in, like I would Have a creator economy within my network.

So for example, a good friend of mine, our kids play basketball together, he was, uh, wanting to get out of his commercial lease, and I went to my network with-- and just said, "Hey, look, if you've got a business, 20 staff in the CBD of Melbourne, looking for, you know, prime location for..." I'm going out without asking for absolutely anything to go and help that person.

Now, that person there, I introduced to Nick Maxwell, who owns a, like, luxury version of WeWork, and I said, "My friend's leaving there.

You guys should connect together because he might be able to be a good client for your business.

Lenny had caught one in the throat and couldn't speak.

But I was lucky that we had two captains, Nick Maxwell and Nick Riewoldt, who I knew I could rely upon.

Two champions and good talkers.

Yes, exactly.

Strawn-tember? We kicked off at the Basement Comedy Club last Sunday.

We had Nick Maxwell.

It was bloody great.

And Limo.

So, um, so yeah, the fir- one of the first guys that I bumped into when I went down that session was Maxy and, um, yeah, so he, um...

Nick Maxwell.

Yeah.

Um, so yeah, seen him and he said, "Mate, look, we don't need...

Barry Carp, the new Collingwood president.

Um, yeah, very supportive and, and, and yeah, sort of just, just backs me in and, and, and, and is there for me for whatever I need in the role that I've got, and he holds the role that I do have, um, in very high regard, so very thankful to have someone like Baz there.

Nick Maxwell, the premiership captain.

Uh, supportive.
