To be clear though, even though Pink Floyd performed together after 1994, this 1994 concert was their last full concert.

Their most notable post-1994 appearance was at the Live 8 concert in London on July 2, 2005, which was the first time that the classic lineup of Roger Waters, David Gilmour, Nick Mason, and Richard Wright had played together in 24 years.

They performed a four-song set consisting of Breathe, Money, Wish You Were Here, and Comfortably Numb.

It was not, however, a full concert.

It was just a part of a bigger concert.

There were two other notable partial reunions after 1994 as well.

In 2007, David Gilmour, Nick Mason, and Richard Wright performed together as Pink Floyd at the Madcap's Last Laugh tribute concert to Sid Barrett in London, England.

Roger Waters also performed at the same event, but he didn't perform with Pink Floyd.

They had to record that in one take for the entire suite due to the technological limitations of the time, so I believe they were using a four-track, and they didn't want to use up too much space, so they did it together in one 23-minute straight session.

Waters and Mason banged out what they put down.

And what I saw in a lot of places is that, you know, Wikipedia and also the book that we've been looking at is that they keep talking about this inconsistent tempo as a result of them having to do this all together.

For me, honestly, I don't notice that at all.

Undoubtedly, it was their most politicized song of the post-Waters era.

Personnel-wise, Mason and Wright are absent again, so instead we've got a Carmine apiece on drums.

He was an accomplished drummer on the rock scene.

He had played with Vanilla Fudge, Cactus, and also Jeff Beck.

And a piece recalled, quote, I came home one day and there was a message from Bob Ezrin.

Hey, Carmine, I'm in the studio with Pink Floyd and there's a track that's just screaming for some Carmine Phils.

I called him back and said, where's Nick Mason? Ezrin replied, he's here, but he's a bit rusty and everyone wants a bit of change, so they're bringing in some guest drummers.

So I went down and did it.
