You know, they really wanted, uh, the production value of the jungle, and certainly they got it.

But they also, I felt, did a great job of how they shot the jungle and, um, how it cut.

It keeps us wondering what's gonna pop up next, if not the snake.

Cinematographer Nick Junkersfeld really taps into this environment because each shot looks like we're transported into a new world.

And Mike Nelson really leans into this to compensate not spending too much on special effects.

Which in a way, I applaud if he actually used more of this to compensate.

I guess we could jump right into your new project, Beware Bionia.

Legend has it that you and Nick Junkersfeld, you were insistent.

I mean, he had worked with you too, Nick, by the way, on Silent Night, Deadly Night, Sweet Revenge, VHS, Wrong Turn, a bunch of other projects that you've done.

You guys insisted Beware Bionia is shot on location in Colombia in the middle of a real jungle.
