The Times hates it.

Remember the Nicholas Kristof column that Israelis had trained dogs to rape Palestinian prisoners? Scientists laughed at that.

It's not possible, not physically possible.

But that's the Times story, and it's stuck to it.

Who, what, who else were they starting to sue recently? And I was, remembered that the, um, that, uh, Gideon Saar and Benjamin Netanyahu have threatened to sue The New York Times for defamation after the, uh, Nicholas Kristof essay.

I do think you do have center left folks who are more reasonable.

I mean, certainly I've spoken to Nick Kristof, for instance, at the New York Times, and he's kind of come out in favor of marriage.

I think there are some thoughtful voices in the center left who are kind of promoting marriage more in recent years.

There are not enough of them, but they do exist.

The one government they seem to be not sceptical of at all is the Israeli one, which is led by Netanyahu and Ben-Gavir and Smokrich and Katz.

How do you manage not to be sceptical about that one? You really think they're just telling the truth all the time? And Nick Kristof, the New York Times journalist...

Who's a two-time Pulitzer Prize winner.

Which is extraordinary because when the article was flipped the other way and people were saying Hamas use sexual violence and there was not a single testimony of a single person, they still believe that story.

Whereas in Nick Kristof's story, there are people who gave their own testimonies about being sexually assaulted.

There's, you know, I think that people believe what they want to believe.

Yeah.

And I guess like the third piece, which came out probably between the time that you submitted this book and its publication, although it would have been great for you, was Nick Kristof's piece about dog rape.

And

I mean, it's like a fire hose, right? I mean, it's a fire hose.

The next Bill Clinton.

And that's written by Nicholas Kristof.

It must be a little awkward to be Andy Beshar these days because just about every visitor looks him up and down with a suspicious sprint and wonders.

Is this guy presidential material? When I sat down with the Kentucky governor for a conversation of more than an hour in his office, I gauged his grip firm without being crushing, chatted about the Kentucky horse racing scenes on the walls and pondered, is this the next Bill Clinton, or is he just another long stream of potential presidential candidates I've seen over the decades who appeal to everyone but actual voters? While Bashar isn't so well known around the country, the one thing is he's recognized for his winning elections.

Twenty twenty-three, The New York Times reported that the deluge of online propaganda and disinformation is larger than anything seen before, according to government officials, said independent researchers.

It noted that Iran, Russia, China, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Al-Qaeda, Islamic State, to say nothing of Hamas itself, quote, "Have used state media and the world's major social networking platforms to support Hamas and undercut Israel." The Times itself earlier regurgitated Hamas propaganda about a hospital bombing only to admit that, quote, "Early versions of the coverage relied too heavily on claims by Hamas and did not make clear that those claims could not immediately be verified." Just a few months ago, Times columnist Nicholas Kristof claimed in print in the pages of The New York Times that Israel had trained dogs to rape Palestinian prisoners.

The New York Times, folks, is just a grotesque corporation.
