Nicholas Herring

Yeah.

Nicholas Herring, so, uh, for everybody who's listening, a, a fantastic island author, uh, just a great guy who, he's a true, he's a true artist.

Uh, I would use the word genius really.

Like he's-

So he's, uh, he was, uh, he's been shortlisted for the Giller Prize.

So, uh, I worked with him and he, he was, he was, he was excellent.

Um, Nicholas Herring, I believe he has a, uh, I believe he has a, maybe has a master's in creative writing, is that what they say?

Pretty diverse guy if he's on the water and writing.

It's like a historical fiction set in Saskatchewan about a Métis woman hiding her identity.

Then we have Your Breath in Charcoal by Nicholas Herring.

This is a road trip, two guys on a road trip from New Brunswick to the big city of Toronto.

Then we have Eliza Sunshine by Michelle Good.

Awesome.

I'll mention quickly another, it's a past event now, sorry listeners, but he has had an event with local author Nicholas Herring.

His newest book, Your Breath in Charcoal, is on the Giller Prize long list.

He has another book.

We're hoping it goes far.

So those are some past events that we might see more of in the future.

And I know that the Nicholas Herring event was free.

So when we get into talking about some of the future events, there is this wonderful mix of ticketed and free events.
