Not so d- similar to W- Wolfwood.

True.
25 MINS LATER

You know, the serious characters sometimes get the wacky faces.
Thomas PerryGUEST
Vash and Wolfwood, you know, and I wouldn't say Ed in Fullmetal Alchemist is particularly a serious character, but I guess he can be at times.

"Still aboard the ship, Wolf- Vash tells Wolfwood about its true mission, contacting Earth so that the inhabitants of the desert planet can be rescued.
Stella JudeHOST
Serendipitously, the ship receives a response from Earth shortly after, but this triggers Knives to destroy the communication satellites, cutting off all future contact before the ships arrive.

Vash and Wolfwood then depart in secret to continue their pursuit of Knives, leaving the girls behind.

Stella JudeHOST
Meanwhile, Meryl, Milly, and Jessica make aboard, make it back aboard the ship just in time to finish off Nine Lives.
Stella JudeHOST
Likewise, Brad discovers the boxes Leonof keeps his puppets in, including one who's particularly special to him, Isabelle.
Stella JudeHOST
Brad messes with the puppets in boxes, drawing Leonof out, at which point Brad severs a chunk of the ship to send Leonof falling to his death.
Stella JudeHOST
Vash catches Leonof, but when Leonof sees Isabelle fall, he stabs Vash and falls with her.
Stella JudeHOST
Vash and Wolfwood wake up later in the ship's hospital s- facilities, where they reunite with Milly and Meryl.
Stella JudeHOST
Wolfwood also gets to meet Luida, one of the ship's leaders, who recounts to him how they discovered Vash missing an arm and on the brink of death 70 years prior.

And Chain-
MattHOST
Wolfwood, but a lady
Thomas ParryGUEST
Yeah, she's a female character dressed like Wolfwood.
Thomas ParryGUEST
But it's mentioned only very briefly that she's a werewolf?
MattHOST
Yeah
MattHOST
When I first was reading it, I shared the same fear that you did, that I was like, "Oh, the reason no one talks about this book is clearly 'cause it's going to be very generic." The first couple of pages Leo was introduced-

Yeah

... and as you started to see them, I was like, "Oh, none of these guys have nearly got as much charisma or joie de vivre as Vash has or Wolfwood has." Like-
