Nice

I actually don't even need – maid service every day like i don't need housekeeping service every day because i just like to sit in my stuff but yeah like a slipper i like when if you go to an airbnb they have little snacks for you as a greeting that's really nice you know um i was in uh the south of france in the french riviera the airbnbs we stayed in they gave wine because obviously a bottle of wine is just a nice touch it's not you know especially if you're spending a lot of money on an airbnb but um So we stayed at two different Airbnbs.

I was with our friend Jean Grey.

We were in Nice and Antibes, which are in the French Riviera.

The first Airbnb was spectacular.

It was a great couch.

So Gildo, Helene's son, had been in the hospital for the last few months after having a stroke.

Helene visited with him daily, making the 45-minute drive from Monaco to where he was hospitalized in Nice, France.

Now, the daily commute was definitely a lot, but Helene didn't care.

She always worked it into her very busy schedule.

And as Helene slid into the back seat, she was greeted by her 64-year-old driver, Mohamed Darwich.

So Mohamed had actually been working with Helene now for 15 years.

And so the two of them spent the entire 45-minute drive to Nice just chatting about their kids, because in some ways they were, you know, longtime friends.

Mohamed told Helene about how he really missed his daughter, who lived back in Egypt with her mom, and he also updated Helene on his son, Wassam, and how he liked living in France.

We begin in France, where police are investigating another daring art heist, this time on the French Riviera.

It took thieves less than five minutes to break into the Renoir Museum near Nice Tuesday morning, and take four paintings by legendary French impressionist Pierre-Auguste Renoir.

But police responded fast.

As the thieves fled, authorities say they abandoned two of the paintings in the museum garden.

See what happens.

Should we go over and talk about Nice? Because whilst we've got 49 athletes doing the Sunshine Coast 70.3 on Sunday, we also have 16 co-sports athletes and no one local, funnily enough, in French.

So everyone's traveled and some great groups of guys and girls spread across the two days.

Obviously, the women on the Saturday and the men on the Sunday.

But Nice World Championships last year was Marbella in Spain and this year's Nice.

And I thought we'd actually start with the pro race.
