NeXTcube

Oh, for sure.

So I'm gonna come back to the Cube and Quake and WW.

So there's a really good moment in the book where the story of how IBM almost licensed NeXTstep, and there's this kind of like hypothetical, Jeffrey, that you posit of like that there's a world in which NeXTstep eclipsed Windows as the world's most popular OS.

And Daniel, I think that this intersects nicely with your experience at NeXT and how you left the company.

You get what you get, and you don't get upset, as we say to our kids.

And yeah, that NeXT logo does hold up.

If any listeners right now just go Google the NeXT Cube and the NeXT logo, and if you put yourself in that context that Daniel had of nineteen eighty-six.

When, when did the cube come out? Was it eighty-seven?
