called? It's a thing called the Next Playground, isn't it? Yeah, the Next Playground.

It's a console.

And it did extremely well.

That was on the Gear VR, the one where you put the phone... samsung phone in the the headset very very well the problem when you increased fidelity and everything else and we saw this because a lot of people played in this space they got too scary and like it just they were just really intense and people were like that's it's too much because like stuff that you wouldn't like that might be a little bit scary on a regular game and you kind of immerse yourself in the space it's terrifying and and a lot of people just didn't like that so i mean resident evil we did that a remake for that in vr with a studio out in austin texas called armature did quite well but anyway niche space on the other side of the spectrum a company called next playground nex just announced another 150 million dollar funding round to build a family-friendly console and this thing is pretty cool

You know, I got to be honest with you.

an online game with questionable safety protocols.

I'll throw one last thought out there as I looked at this.

And again, I'm pretty new to reading up on the next Playground, but I looked at its technical specs and this is not a particularly beefy piece of hardware, which is why they can price it at $299.

I do wonder if in the long haul that's going to kind of limit its audience.

Let's get that.

So the NFL, National Football League, that's American football for all the non-Americans, has launched the game NFL Flag Heroes on the Nex Playground, which is a gaming system that's controlled through body movement.

It's a lot like the sort of the Kinect, if anybody remembers that.

Players choose from all 32 actual NFL teams and physically pass, run, dodge through short flag football matches.
