Newtype

Through this series, I hope to illustrate the realistic understanding of people who can temper their own affections and take no more than what they need to exist as an individual.

I would like to suggest that the Newtypes may be representative of people who think in this way.

I would say that this is the true theme of the work.

And I just want to remind everyone, part of the purpose of this memo is to go out to Bandai to decide-

So then we've got the basic story section, which gives a proposed series outline for Zeta Gundam.

Put simply, the story in Zeta Gundam is about Char Aznable, who has escaped from A Baoa Qu seven years prior to the beginning of the story.

Upon escaping, he overcomes his differences with Amuro Ray, whose freedoms were severely limited by the Earth Federation, to raise a second generation of Newtypes.

The war that took place between the Earth Federation and the Principality of Zeon is referred to as the One Year War, and the current plot takes place seven years following the end of the war.

No, it's because it takes a Newtype to pilot a Gundam, and a Newtype has the ability to expand their consciousness outwards.

So everybody else is piloting a tank, right? And they are like neurally interfacing with a machine so that it becomes their own body.

That's why Gundam and Newtypes are the only ones who can control the, uh, independent laser pods.

I see.

Okay.

Uh, you- no, I thought, uh ...

Oh, okay.

Uh, again, Newtypes aren't really a thing, uh, in Gundam Wing.
