And they actually selected a number of institutions in Chicagoland to support this year, or over the next couple of years.

We are one of those institutions, and we are one of the first to launch our exhibit, but the National Museum of Mexican Art, the Chicago Architecture Center, the Newberry Library, and a number of others are going to be rolling things out over the coming year or two, and their own institutions.

But we saw it as a great opportunity to explore a topic we had not focused on that has deep relevance within American writing and American culture.

According to the Pew Research Center, after years of decline in the number of Americans who identify as religious, there are signs that trend is leveling off.

But we wanted something that was more traditional or more uniquely and everything like that.

And I went to the Newberry Library and looked at a lot of different things, and I came up with Goose Island.

Oh, OK.

So you just named it after the island because it's something that's really synonymous.

Ooh.

Now, in 2016, the archive was transferred to the Newberry Library in Chicago.

They were prolific, dude.

So... all together the newberry library received approximately two and a half million items including nearly 500 000 postcard images holy smokes yeah they did a lot of stuff

And after each of our sessions, she would go to Newberry Library, which is a private history research library in Chicago.

And she'd come back to our next appointment with three to five pages of detailed notes that she had checked out from her previous regression.
