You don't actually have to do that if you're coming to the Willamette Valley.

You can stay up in Newberg.

So Newberg is close to where the Chelam Ridge Bed and Breakfast is.

It actually overlooks the city below the bed and breakfast, so it's really conveniently located.

Newberg is a fantastic town.

Dundee, and then of course Salem is a little bit more mid valley, and then Eugene at the very end of the valley.

If you are just coming for like a weekend trip flying in and out of Portland, I would recommend staying up near Newberg.

It's only an hour from Portland.

OK, so that was the first thing.

And then is your website in gestation, in hesitation or in redirection? And you said, I started the Newberg notebook and I love that.

So it's still in gestation.

And again, I got the message, don't hurry because you'll be overwhelmed.

And where was that? Who was that?

That was Alexana estate in Willamette Valley outside of Newberg.

Um, beautiful countryside, amazing wines.

And I actually debated staying out West after that experience.

Still have the accident over again about halfway in between Newburgh and St. Paul on Highway 219.

Right as you approach Champooey Road northeast, it is causing a backup, particularly headed south out of Newburgh, trying to get into St. Paul this afternoon.

I-5 northbound of Vancouver is slow from just north of the Fremont Bridge up to the interstate.

Also up in Clark County, you have a stalled truck.

But in talking about those stories, uh, th- that touch home on loss and so on, we'll do that again a little bit later this hour with Chris Dolon, the father of Oregon State offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Mitch Dolon, who I've been really impressed, when you heard Eric Olson talk about, uh, sitting down in a film room and, and watching Mitch at work, and listening to the ideas and concepts.

I think the Beaver offense is in really good hands with Mitch.

But yeah, this is, what we're tasting here i- is, is from the Willamette Valley, from the Parrot Mountain AVA, JK Carriere, um, right outside of Newberg, Oregon, up on a, on a hillside, uh, in Parrot Mountain that's beautiful, uh, that I helped plant, uh, about 15 acres worth from 2016 through 2018.

This is gorgeous.
