New York City Board of Elections

Good.

J.C. Polanco is a professor at the University of Mount St. Vincent in the Bronx and a former president of the New York City Board of Elections.

He says there will likely be court battles ahead, but this is already causing confusion.

Voters should act as if nothing happened and they should continue voting as such.

In addition, there's lots of patronage.

I mean, the chair of the Brooklyn Democratic Party gets to pick who's on the board of elections from her county for a Dem.

And as part of that, you get lots of jobs related to that at the board of elections to put in whomever you want or your friends want.

And we've done lots of reporting on that.

And that's just basically the system that it is.

And that's not just Brooklyn.

That's all counties.

Like, that's how it works at the Board of Elections.

of adult care facilities and hospitals.

Now it's expanded to anybody wants an absentee ballot, they just call the Board of Elections.

And you can even have an absentee ballot mailed to you at an address that's different from your address that's on record with the Board of Elections.

And in some states, they can even deliver the ballot to you overseas.

And then the ballots, they'll count the ballots if they come in up to 7 o'clock, 8 o'clock, 9 o'clock on Election Day.

That is really frightening.

And when you talk, I mean, that's an enormous amount of people, right, John? And why would you not want to figure it out for integrity purposes? Well,

remember that de Blasio's Democratic representative on the New York Board of Elections a few years ago was caught being videotaped at a party admitting there was massive voter fraud.
