New York Academy of Art

Joseph is an accomplished classical artist who has won multiple international awards in both painting and sculpture.

He received a Master of Fine Arts in Sculpture in 2012 from the New York Academy of Art.

He studied forensic facial reconstruction with the Smithsonian's acclaimed forensic arts Ji Boon Chae.

Yeah.

It was the mid-1990s, and this was the second time the two had met.

Farmer had encountered Maxwell and her friend Jeffrey Epstein at the New York Academy of Art graduates show.

She would go on to work for the pair for a year, at the front desk of Epstein's Manhattan mansion.

She was perfectly placed to see who came to the house, and said she witnessed young teenagers being brought through the doors by Maxwell.

To have people showing you how to paint is something I never had before.

But those are thousands of dollars, Kat.

So basically, what did I learn during this pandemic? And besides trying not to panic every time I throw the chess, because I do panic, as an introvert who enjoys being home, I returned to what I know best, online communities.

I took painting classes from New York Academy of Art.

I joined an online book club.

And I've got groups of people all over the world with whom I talk about biohacking, art, New York, Broadway, Comic-Con.

Well, the thing is, for the last two years I've been studying in New York, I decided to go back to art eventually, which I always was going to do.

And I got my MFA from the New York Academy of Art.

And just before I graduated was when Hazel said, you know, how about it? And I thought, well, I'm going to be in South Africa.

You know, let's give it a go.

We want to be the artists, quite part of the DNA of our hotel as well.

And we are a curator as well of the New York Art Academy in order to support young artists.

So we've got some artists on site, young artists on site quite regularly.

but one of the artists that I like, actually, is the grandson of Rémi Duhamel, who actually traveled the world, and now he's based in Argentina.
