Right, and she is weary from years of catastrophic bureaucratic gridlock in the New Republic Senate.

Gray explores the mechanics of a woman torn between her exhausting political duties and her gut instincts.

Because her instincts are screaming that something is terribly wrong in the galaxy.

Leia sees the danger coming.

She has that innate rebellion instinct to notice when the machine is turning evil again.

But the new Republic system she spent her life building is too obsessed with procedure and, like, partisan point scoring to act.

It, it, it, it hadn't had a chance to completely, uh, take throughout the galaxy, and that's one of the reasons why they were so, they, they so easily kind of picked them off, and they had the super weapon, and the Starkiller Base, and all of that.

But, uh, so we're, we're going back to the Wild West here, it sounds like, in the Star Wars galaxy.

So maybe there is, you know, it's not an organized galaxy-sprawling government like the Old Republic was, or the New Republic, or the, uh, or, or the Empire for that matter.

Um, you don't have that.
