New Mexico United

For some moments, we were moved down to fourth place.

I mean it's just crazy again how we go from being first place early on in the match New Mexico scores that last minute goal that ends up like pushing us down to second Oakland Roots moves around they get to you know push us to third and then we end up moving back to second pretty much at the end of the game but nothing we could do we knew second place was up for grabs for us and Thankfully, they were able to get it right there and there.

Now, you were mentioning earlier, Sharon, the substitutions.

I want to hear your guys' thoughts on Kyle Jennings because personally, I'm really disappointed because I felt like at this point, he would have had maybe at least three, four goals scored.

and also keeps the Helicop in Sacramento where it belongs.

I mean, you could not have scripted this any better, especially with the gloves magic going on with Kyle Edwards as well, because this one, he did have the gloves on.

oh yeah yeah unlike the over in new mexico too but it was good he didn't have the gloves on for that one right we learned all right the gloves yeah i mean they work but also if he doesn't have have them he doesn't have to panic buy some gloves if he's not on the way trip right or door dash them or whatever but yeah so that was that three to six minutes of extra time which i think ended up becoming like 10 minutes right because we had that like injury that happened but Yeah, I mean, we're able to get the win.

I mean, let's hope that next Sunday we don't go through the same level of drama because we're all trying to watch our heart health.

You can get your tickets there.

NewMexicoUTD.com. We have tickets starting as low as That's $20.

We have family four-packs.

We want to make sure that Everybody has access to the games.

And so maybe we didn't want to give anything away in this game.

Um, I, you know, I, I feel like you can look at, okay, New Mexico United, two wins on the bounce after two losses, uh, We got two draws where we currently sit.

We're on the same number of games, you know, six total points left and we're four off of them.

I feel like the team just doesn't want me to be right about predicting that we were going to finish in second and Collins, but Collins, yeah, maybe he didn't want to, maybe Daniel, he didn't want to tip his hand there.

pessimism in there that I always have, but I am hopeful for a draw.

I think we can come back with a point at least.

I think if we could do it in New Mexico, we can pick up the win in New Mexico.

We can pick up a draw in El Paso.

Nominees are out, even though we pretty much know who it's going to be.

And then we'll break down all the action that transpired this weekend, including New Mexico against Phoenix, which I was watching even late into last night.

Only on, like, six hours of sleep, just because there was so much going on.

October is the hottest month of soccer in the United States, without a doubt, from just what's gonna happen postseason playoffs and add in the USL Cup as well.

And we're gonna even talk more about what had transpired over the weekend between Indy versus Loudoun and Miami versus Tampa Bay Rowdies.

We'll talk about that after the USL Cup.

And then real quick, Tulsa taking on New Mexico.

New Mexico holding more of the possession in the first half, um, almost 70% possession on the night.
