New Math

Held regularly in Paris, these seminars became the top venue for sharing the latest important discoveries in mathematics.

Bourbaki members organized the seminars by choosing important new mathematical papers and inviting leading experts, even those outside their group, to present and explain the work to large audiences.

The seminars turned into an extension of their books.

Getting invited to speak at a Bourbaki seminar was a major honor for any mathematician.
