New Jersey Titans

They were just awarded one of those memberships into the new development league that USA Hockey has created.

And the other chunk of time I spent was with the New Jersey Titans program, was the American Eagles.

It became the New Jersey Titans.

Mike Haviland, who's a longtime coach in the National Hockey League College, American League, him and his brother had started that program back in the day.

And at times, my dad decided, yeah, I'll drive you an hour and 15 minutes to practice.

I mean, listen, I've coached a couple of kids that came through your two toodle it, you know, you, you kind of worked with a little bit.

I had them at, at the New Jersey Titans, you know, Ryder O'Neill, one of my favorite guys that I, you know, that I had, but talk to us a little bit about the, about the Academy.

So we have an academy where the kids are actually focusing on ice time and coaching and development, not games.

We're not even really playing any games.

It's an incredible event from a fan or a standpoint of going and watching.

I did a Texas Brahma's New Jersey Titans game.

And you talk about hard to do a game that you're not invested in.

Like it was fun because I got to see kids play that you don't normally get to see play.

So I played growing up, like I was in Jersey until juniors.

So I graduated from CBA, Christopher Brothers Academy, played all four years, played a little bit with Devils, Rockets, Titans, kind of all those years, youth hockey.

And then I was finally able to make the jump to the USHL, go to Cedar Rapids.

So that was a big change going from living at the Jersey Shore to the Midwest.

How was it with the USHL? You got drafted there?

No.

So I played for the New Jersey Titans, like North American league team.

And we actually won that year, won the championship.
