Um, and, uh, so I th- I, we're gonna try and keep it going and try and live up to, uh, the standards that the old paper set.

Um, it, you know, we're not, we're not in competition with, uh, the New Haven Register or the New Haven Independent.

You know, we consider them to be the, the, uh, the papers of record for the city.

So, uh, there's not gonna be a lot of local politics and content in there.

Um, you know, the governor left that out of his, uh, out of his commercial, uh, too.

Uh, but the thing that really bugged me about that, that hearing, which the New Haven Independent c- covered, uh, very well, uh, was Mayor Justin Elicker, uh, saying that, uh, uh, "You know, well, we, we do have this problem and we, we've got, we've gotta fix it, but our schools are underfunded and, you know, that's why we're clamoring at the legislature for, for more money." Well, you know, these guys, the Democrats who have, um, have been running the governor, government for many years, they're all Democrats in New Haven.

The president of the Senate is a Democrat.

The governor's a Democrat.
