Conservative Party NZ

So it was like, let's join my boys to some conservative parties.

So I stood for New Conservative in 2020. stood for vision in 2023 so on the conservative side and this time so all that experience has been fabulous and New Zealand First has loved the fact that many of us have come from the conservative side and had that experience

So with New Zealand First what attracted you there because I mean they have a position against the Indian Free Trade Agreement don't they?

That's right.

And this was an issue after the 2014 election where Winston Peters objected to two political ads that he said, breach this rule.

Two ads that he cited were one, an ACT Party video claiming Winston was anti-Chinese, and a Conservative Party pamphlet comparing its policies to New Zealand First's policies.

Now lying wouldn't normally be a crime.

Why does it become a crime for the two days before the election?

They failed to get there.

The Conservatives failed to get there too under Colin Craig.

Because what you often find...

under MMP with the minor parties is the leader has broken away from a major party.
