Gorlin syndrome is an inherited condition in which people develop basal cell carcinomas, a form of skin cancer.

Crystal Biotech treated three adults with Gorlin syndrome using KB113, a gene therapy injected directly into the lesions.

After 14 weeks of treatment and 30 days of follow-up, Crystal reported regression in 69 of 83 lesions, a count of lesions across those three people.

Three lesions selected for biopsy showed clearance.
