Neverwinter

We are playing D&D tonight.

It is Neverwinter, the hose of Neverwinter, back at the table.

Unfortunately, Nathaniel's still stuck in some little digital box somewhere.

We haven't found the curse to release him, but maybe next week, right? Maybe, maybe.

We will hopefully see you then.

But yes, the Hoes are back.

We're back in Neverwinter.

Last time you all played, I think Zephyrel was busy macking on Malik for a bit, so he missed a bit of an adventure.

"I've never, I've never met you in my life."

So what I need from my cute little adventuring party is to head to Neverwinter.

I'm calling in this favor because some very important people to me have gone missing.

They're not quite noble, so don't get any ideas about robbing them.

Sadly, and I don't know why I'm surprised by this statement, Arlo has stopped communicating.

But before he did that, he did at least provide one final status report.

So what I need for y'all to do is I need you to go to Neverwinter, proceed to Neverdeath Cemetery in the Halifax Mausoleum.

Arlo's already done all the hard work for you.

And I think it's going to slot in really well here by having Bryce's show up and say, hey, you owe me a favor.

So I'm going to send you to Neverwinter to check out these missing nobles, or sorry, not nobles, but missing VIPs, which I'm very proud that I made my own custom handout that has them all listed here.

I'm the opposite of somebody who's like graphic design is my passion.

I loathe it.

I'm terrible at it.

But this is me trying to put together a little dossier of the missing folks that I can do is just a single handout to show the party and I also love the little twist that we can use the rival party again in an unconventional way which is that they all arrived here first and they were most of them killed because they work for Brysis so that also worked out really well for my story and campaign so that'll be more impactful and I think for the party that they've tussled with these folks before, they've talked with them before and they will find most of their dead bodies as well as being able to rescue these nobles, which are not quite dead.

So that will automatically send them to Neverwinter and then to the Hallux Mausoleum.

Now they can buy supplies in Neverwinter.

And during this time, you guys had a confrontation with an old enemy slash ally known as Annabelle Ashford.

She was the undead assassin that had been given a new identity, who is the older sister of a one Dane Ashford who's located within Neverwinter currently.

You did battle with her in the basement of your old patron Marion Stonehill's old manor and managed to get Marion out.

Marion had expressed to you secretly that she is on a suicide mission, essentially, to kill Thorpe by any means necessary.

And it's ever so briefly that you see the woman that he claims to be his mother, Victoria Craskell.

She is... um a smaller a woman in very small stature probably only close to about five foot two or three and she's a little hunched over she looks like someone's grandmother she doesn't look imposing or or scary at all you can glean that like she's wearing some finery but she is not making any sort of like over the top like visual spectacle in comparison to someone like Loriana.

Thorpe goes on about a speech of welcoming these people in as a as a bolster to their own already like strong army and navy that they have and that they welcome they to help support the defense compared to the dangers that are occurring both in Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter.

And you all saw that it was the body of a woman named Annabelle Ashford.

pre-stream Annabelle was known originally as Darla Thorpe or Darla Mott sorry Darla Mott she was the plucky young barmaid at the curtain call it turns out that she is the younger sister of one Dane Ashford a blacksmith in Neverwinter and unfortunately she was killed when he was very young she is his older sister and her body was then repurposed by they as kind of a sleeper agent so you would fought her a few times pre-stream And she's basically this really nasty looking undead assassin.

Whether or not she retains any of her memories as Darla or as Annabelle, you're not sure.

But the few times you guys did tangle with her, you barely got out alive.

There's a Tark.

They're a long bloodline of well-known orcs.

There's also rumors of a very loud drag queen orc in Neverwinter, but I don't know what she knows.
